Our Story
Ryan Leerar, founder of Ryan's Roofing L.L.C., has years of experience in the roofing industry. He started his journey working at roofing companies before beginning to do his own jobs on the side. The quality of Ryan’s work kept him busier and busier, allowing him to eventually branch off completely and form his own company. Ryan's Roofing, L.L.C. was established in 2010 to serve the community of Crystal Lake and the surrounding areas, and over a decade later, we continue providing a level of service and satisfaction that cannot be matched.
We specialize in full roof replacements, metal roof installations, and fixing storm damage with or without an insurance claim. Our crew has the tools to professionally fix or install your roof with quality that lasts a lifetime. Our owner, Ryan, overlooks every single project and works closely with his clients to personally address any questions or concerns. From the very beginning, everyone was easy to work with. Steve was great during the sales process and kept everything straightforward without making me feel pressured. The crew did a really good job and worked hard from start to finish.
What really stood out to me was Ryan, the owner. He didn’t just send his crew out and disappear. He stayed involved and actually came back after everything was finished to do a final cleanup and make sure any nails that might have been left behind were picked up. That meant a lot to me because it showed that he genuinely cared about the quality of the job and how they left my property.
You can tell there’s a great group of people behind this company. From Ryan, Steve, and the crew, everyone was friendly, professional, and took pride in their work.

Ryan and his team did a great job on our roof. We are very pleased with the quality of their work and that they were able to complete it in only one day. Additionally, they did a wonderful job cleaning up the area after they completed the job. We were also impressed with Ryan's responsiveness to our concerns about existing problems with our roof before the project began and the solutions that he came up with to ensure that any ventilation and bat point of entry problems were resolved. At the completion of the project, he double-checked these areas personally to make sure that they had been adequately addressed. He also personally patrolled the area around the house with a magnet to ensure that any remaining nails in the grass had been picked up. His professionalism, care and concern for meeting our needs, and the pride he and his team showed in doing their work was much appreciated and rather inspiring. Thank you so much for the wonderful job that you did for us. We really appreciate it!

Ryan’s Roofing did an amazing job replacing my old roof. He was quick to respond on the estimate. We set a start date and his crew started early and complete the job by early afternoon. They use quality materials and the installation was done properly. I’ve been in the construction industry for 45 years know my roof was done right! I highly recommend Ryan’s Roofing!

So very happy with Ryan and his crew. They came in and tackled our shingling in one day on our 2 story house. They cleaned up all the mess associated with roofing, we haven’t found one nail after. Having our house shingled twice before from other contractors, finding no nails or mess after was a nice change! Ryan also discovered the leak which we had for years regarding the dormers and solved that issue.
We highly recommend them!
